(a) Actually/In fact: বিষয়ের গভীরে প্রবেশ করতে বা জোর দিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
(b) Indeed: কোনো সত্যকে সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে বসে।
(c) However: পূর্ববর্তী আলোচনার সাথে সামান্য ভিন্নমত বা সীমাবদ্ধতা প্রকাশে ব্যবহৃত।
(d) For instance: উদাহরণ দিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
(e) On the other hand: বিপরীতমুখী দুটি অবস্থার তুলনা করতে বসে।
(f) Consequently: পূর্ববর্তী কারণের যৌক্তিক ফলাফল প্রকাশ করে।
(g) Therefore: সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত।
(h) Actually: বাস্তবতাকে পুনরায় গুরুত্ব দিতে বসে।
(i) Moreover/In addition: অতিরিক্ত তথ্য যোগ করতে বসে।
(j) but: দুটি ক্লজের মধ্যে বৈপরীত্য সংযোগ করতে বসে।
(k) that: Relative pronoun হিসেবে তথ্যকে নির্দিষ্ট করে।
(l) If: শর্তযুক্ত বাক্য গঠনে ব্যবহৃত।
(m) Rather: আগের নেতিবাচক ধারণার বদলে সঠিক পরিণতি দেখাতে বসে।
(n) So: সমগ্র আলোচনার সারসংক্ষেপ বা উপসংহার টানতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
